NIH First No Cost Extension
The NIH link for an automatic first No Cost Extension (NCE) is currently disabled. While there has been no official communication about this from NIH, we are hearing from the eRA helpdesk that they were instructed to ‘temporarily disable it for all projects’. At this time, if you are planning a first NCE, be prepared to do the full documentation that is required for a second NCE. We will update as soon as we hear more concrete information.
