Preparing Your Proposal
- Read the sponsor guidelines, including the funding opportunity and sponsor policy, for the key proposal guidelines and other sponsor-specific guidance.
- Prepare and compile all proposal elements.
- Prepare and route the EPASS in the Electronic EPASS System for the applicable signatures and to OCGA for review..
Submit a Proposal for OCGA Review
Submit the completed EPASS with the Principal Investigator's signature and the following minimum proposal requirements at least five (5) business days before the sponsor deadline.
- Sponsor Guidelines
- All Sponsor forms requiring OCGA signature/approval
- Final Budget and Budget Justification
- Brief description of the proposal aims or proposal abstract (scope or statement of work)
- Outgoing Subaward documents, if applicable
The minimum proposal requirements may be submitted in the electronic EPASS system or S2S Grants (Cayuse).
Submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) or Preliminary Proposal for OCGA Review
For pre-proposals, such as a Letter of Intent (sometimes known as a “white paper”), submit the following minimum requirements in the electronic EPASS system:
- Completed EPASS with the PI’s Signature,
- Current sponsor guidelines (if any exist), and
- Document that requires institutional approval
